We at the Sea Sure Factory in Warsash have a skilled team of highly educated engineers designing and manufacturing our products to the highest quality in the UK since 1789. The factory is split into multiple different rooms all with unique machinery and jobs.
Moulding:
Using a Manumould and Arberg Mould we can manufacture any of our plastic products from plastic buckles to Parrel Beads. We use a range of different plastic (standard nylon, polypropoleen, TUP, glass filled nylon) depending on the product needs.

Press Shop:
316 Stainless Steel gets cut into shape in our press shop using Blanking, hair presses, fly presses, wire former, and bucklers. We have 2 traditional blanking machines one 55tone and one 30tone power press used for blanking out the 316 stainless steel into the correct shapes for our products. The Hair Presses are used for forming, peircing and blanking 316 Stainless steel, and the fly press is used to stamp our Sea Sure logo to every product we manufacture. When making all of our 316 stainless steel rings, triangles and clews, we use a wire former that'll will bend them into the correct shape for our welders.
Turning:
We have 5 manual CNC turning machines as well as one drilling machine in our turning room.

Fitting Room:
The fitting room is where we fit our pintels, gudgeons, rudderstocks and rings using a manual fly press. We have multiple fly presses of different ages all providing a unique touch to our products, with one of our top engineers who has been with us for over 25years ensuring that only the best quality product makes it out the fitting room.
Assembly Room:
Riveting, breackering, and drilling is what is done in the assembly room on a wide range of products. Reverting is mostly used when assembling any of our blocks, we use the breakering machine to then press the blocks together, and the drilling malu mould machines are mostly used for our drop nose pins.
Welding Room:
Probably our busiest room in the factory is the wielding room, most of Sea Sure's 316 stainless steel products will have a welding aspect during the manufacturing process. Our welders are very proud of the level of welding they produce, using a tig welding machines use fully penetrated welding as their method. By using the fully penetrated method this makes the weld of all our products extremely strong with high breaking loads that won't even be at the point that was welded.
Design & Tool Room:
Innovation at Sea Sure starts in the tool room, we use fusion 360 to plan out all our designs before brining them to life in the factory.
