38mm Plain Bearing Plastic Sheave Blocks 

These are tough general purpose high load blocks. They have a similar classic
design to the 25mm range but have very high load carrying capacity. Their simple
construction and plain bearings means they are long lasting and require very little
maintenance.

Rope Sizes & Types: Up to 10mm; standard 3 strand or plaited nylon,
polyester and polypropylene ropes.
Sheave: Tough "Arnite" plastic
Bearing: Plain low friction plastic onto stainless steel
Body construction: Electro-polished stainless steel
Breaking Loads: 1,400kg (03-01)
Weights: 64g (03-01)
Typical uses: Control lines, halyards, outhauls, kicking straps,
furling lines, cunninghams, traveller control lines,
leech lines, spinnaker sheets, guys and halyards

These blocks have aluminium sheaves and are for use with wire and aramid type ropes when very high loads are involved. They feature a plain bearing on carbon fibre bush for trouble free use under load.
